the Whirlpool instructions are not jiving with the materials & cutting instructions…..how can the finished quilt be 74 x 74 when the 12″ blocks are made up 4 6.5″ squares and the top is 3 12″ blocks x 3 12″ blocks….I have read and reread the instructions…my finished squares are 6.5″ x 6.5″ & blocks are 12″ x 12″ this makes only 36″ x 36″ what am I not understanding here help please
The single cloverleaf finishes at the 12″. It takes 4 cloverleaf blocks to make the large block, 24″. Three large blocks across is 72″, plus the borders. I hope this helps!
